Bushcraft Courses

Lake District

What is Bushcraft?

Long before modern luxuries bushcraft was simply a way of life - a collection of skills and knowledge that helped you survive in the natural environment. Our world is evolving so fast and sometimes it's hard to keep up with the fast pace of life. It's time to explore and reconnect with nature. Our Bushcraft courses provide a novel way to spend time with family or friends, experience the peace and tranquillity of the woodland and learn about the fundamental elements of survival.

Where our Bushcraft courses are held:

Land based Bushcraft and survival skills courses are held in our private oak woodland in the Southern Lake District, close to Grizebeck and Broughton-in-Furness. The woodland is set in a 2700 acres of private country estate in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful Duddon estuary and is surrounded by rugged Lakeland fells. Peaceful and away from the crowds, the woodland is a place to get away from it all for a day and totally immerse yourself in nature.

Our woodland facilities include a composting toilet so you can have a little luxury in nature! We also have a large parachute to keep you dry in all weathers.

What we offer:

Our sessions are bespoke and are often just you and your party. During busy periods you may be part of a larger group. If you would prefer a private session just let us know and we will accommodate you if we possibly can - please enquire for a price. We keep our ratios of instructor to client low so you can have a fabulous and safe experience.
