Cathedral Quarry Abseil

Lake District

Abseiling - the ultimate adrenaline rush!

We'll guide you to the hidden gem of Cathedral Quarry - a disused Green Slate Quarry situated just outside the village of Coniston. Enjoy a 25-minute journey through old slate quarries and picturesque woodland then spend some time exploring the magnificent cavern and tunnels of Cathedral Quarry. We'll walk to the top to see the panoramic views then, if you dare, abseil 150 ft down into depths of the quarry. Your fully qualified and experienced instructor will guide you down every step of the way.
