Wild Walking Weekends
Get away from it all and immerse yourself in the mountains for a whole weekend. Our Wild Walking Weekends are an amazing opportunity to meet like minded people and discover some of the most beautiful places that the Lake District has to offer; including a stunning wild camping spot for the evening. Everything is included so all you have to do is turn up with your walking gear and some extra clothes for an overnight stay! Our local Mountain Leaders will guide you along the route. There is always the opportunity to brush up on your navigation skills if you wish.
Day 1: Meet langdale 9.30am - Introductions and pack kit
Start walk: Estimated time of departure -10.30am.
Walk up the Langdale valley passing by Angle Tarn towards Wasdale.
Early afternoon: Arrive at your wild camping spot and set up tents ready for the evening.
Late afternoon: Depart camp for Scafell Pike summit via the famous corridor route. Take stoves and food to make dinner out along the route.
Early evening: Reach the summit of Scafell Pike. Depart and return to camp as the sun is setting.
Day 2: 7.30am cook breakfast and pack away camp.
Start walk: 9.00am
Walk over Esk Pike, Bow Fell, Crinkle Crags, Pike of Blisco and return to Langdale Valley.
Return time: 5.00pm - sort out kit. Depart by 5.30pm
Farewell drink at the pub - optional .

1 night Wild camping.
All safety kit and insurance.
All expedition equipment: including tent and sleeping bag and stove but you are welcome to bring your own - 3 season sleeping bag required and compact suitable mountain tent.
Food - Evening meal, breakfast and lunch - (You provide the first packed lunch). Our food supplies are based on years of expeditions experience and provide plenty of much needed tasty calories. We provide gourmet ready cooked meals for breakfast and dinner. Dietary requirements can be catered for. You are welcome to supplement or bring your own food along.
Menu examples: Dinner - Curry and Rice / Stew and Potatoes / Meatballs & Rice + pudding, Tea and Coffee. Breakfast - Full english breakfast and/or cereal. Lunch - Pita breads with spreads, oatcakes, fruit, nuts and chocolate.

Type of terrain: Mountains, rough ground, footpaths - strenuous in places.
Suitable for: Adults with a good level of fitness.

Warm layers, Hat, Gloves
Waterproof Jacket & Trousers - Good quality
Decent full Walking Boots
Spare change of clothes
Packed lunch for first day.
Sturdy water bottle/s - 2 ltrs
