Cathedral Quarry Abseil

Lake District

Abseiling - the ultimate adrenaline rush!

We'll guide you to the famous hidden gem of Cathedral Quarry - a disused Green Slate Quarry situated just outside the village of Coniston, bought by Beatrix Potter in 1929 who then generously gave it to the National Trust. You'll take a 25-minute journey through old slate quarries and picturesque woodland then spend some time exploring the magnificent cavern and tunnels of Cathedral Quarry.

Once you are through the Quarry you'll walk up to the top to see the magnificent mountain views and then you'll have the opportunity to abseil 150ft down into the depths of the quarry! Your fully qualified and experienced instructor will guide you down every step of the way.

An amazing experience not to be missed!
