We are a premier provider of outdoor activities in the Lake District and the service we offer is a 5-star package - from our high level of customer service, fantastic local instructors and of course top quality adventures with great kit. The price is what you pay and value is what you get!
Expect to meet like-minded people on your activity. We keep our ratios of instructor to client low so you can have a fabulous and safe experience. If you would prefer a private session just let us know and we will accommodate you if we possibly can - please enquire for a price.

"I looked at a few sites before choosing Path to adventure, but after researching the website a little and calling them to speak to them personally I could tell they were the best choice, and we weren’t disappointed.
Our guide Al was reassuring, funny, great company and part of our experience. He engaged us all as we had mixed abilities and no one was left out of the adventure. My older son (16) got the thrill seeking he hoped for and my younger son (13) felt the fun and challenge at the right level of ability for him. Al took the time to include and support us all.
I was incredibly Nervous but I would say for anyone doubting if they can do this, do it! You will feel amazing and so proud! You’ll be supported all the way. The equipment is well fitted and sufficient for all you need, I get cold but the wetsuits are good quality and I didn’t feel the water temperature was a problem at all.

"We did a morning rock climbing at Langdale and an afternoon Ghyll scrambling at Coniston the next day. Both activities were terrific fun, the guides (George & Scott) were excellent, really helpful and friendly and very patient and supportive with our 2 children (10 & 13) to help them get the best out of each activity - highly recommend."

"Dark Skies canoeing was absolutely amazing. Al and Heather are both fantastic. Both also really knowledgeable about the constellations. Part way through canoeing, we even made some fire, had some hot chocolate and toasted some marshmallows. We were lucky enough to see shooting stars as well. Highly recommend.
