Inspiring outdoor experiences in Lake District - here's what people are saying...
"We had a great time on the canoeing and bushcraft trip! What attracted us was the range of sessions they had for different ages, which meant we could do do an outdoor activity with our 5 year old. Canoeing on Coniston lake was beautiful! The bushcraft part of our trip took place on a lovely little beach which all the kids enjoyed, especially trying out fire making in a really safe environment, topped off with marshmallows and hot chocolate. Andrew was our instructor, who was really informative and great interacting with the kids. Would definitely recommend and will be booking on another adventure with them next time we're back. Thanks for a great experience and memories!"

"Excellent half day kayaking. Brilliant guide who was friendly, helpful and really supportive of my 13 year old daughter. Would definitely recommend."

"I booked a Ghyll scramble and canyoning session with Al and his team for my brothers stag do and it was absolutely brilliant. They took brilliant care of us. I can highly recommend the canyoning aspect of the session for anyone who is adventurous - the jumps and slides are enough to get the heart racing. I would 10/10 recommend."

We have used many companies for various water activities in Lakes and Path to Adventure are by far the best! The equipment provided was clean, in perfect condition and better than anywhere else has ever provided... Including wetsuit socks!
We did the Ghyll scrambling and Heather was fab at making the activity suit us and the difficulty level throughout.
I would highly recommend Path to Adventure for their professionalism, friendliness and overall fun. Thanks guys!"

"Al was our instructor for the Ghyll Scrambling activity we did in the Lake District. My daughter and I were part of an all female business owner group on a four day activity retreat.
Al has the most welcoming, kind personality and, as well as ensuring we were fully briefed as to what we were about to do and how to keep ourselves and our fellow group members safe, he kept us laughing and smiling throughout the activity!
He and his two helper instructors gave lots of encouragement and supported anyone who was struggling in such a positive, professional and friendly way, which meant we all completed the challenge.
Al provided all the equipment required including wet suits, life jackets, harnesses and helmets and ensured everyone’s was fitted correctly.
We had SO much fun and felt utterly exhilarated at the end of the 3 hour activity. The setting he took us on was incredibly beautiful and left me feeling amazing and at one with nature!
Thank you to Al and his team for being all round fantastic instructors. I would highly recommend you to all! Michelle" 😁
