Amazing outdoor experiences in Lake District - here's what people are saying...
"We’re a group of 12 mates in our late 30s to early 40s who decided it was time to swap the pub for something a bit more adventurous – and Esk Gorge canyoning absolutely delivered. This was, hands down, one of the most exhilarating and rewarding experiences we’ve ever done together. From the moment we arrived, the guides were professional, encouraging, and genuinely supportive. They struck the perfect balance between ensuring our safety and letting us push our limits. The scenery alone was worth the trip – crystal-clear pools, natural rock slides, and stunning waterfalls that looked like something out of a movie. We spent the day scrambling, jumping, swimming, and laughing like we were 20 again"

Honestly, this was one of the most enjoyable days I've ever had. I needed to have a bit of correspondence before the day (with Heather) and found out that their customer service was above and beyond. On the day, the instructor who took us (Adam) was absolutely brilliant. He was upbeat, fun and excellent with everyone, from the eldest (me, I think) to the youngest. An absolute asset to the company. We got lucky with the weather, and the scrambling (we did Church Beck, Coniston one) was brilliant. But the leader made it. I can't recommend this enough. Stop reading reviews and book it!

"A terrific bushcraft day in beautiful bluebell woods with Al, who showed us how to make a camp fire using sticks and friction, over which we then cooked a delicious lunch. I enjoyed learning about how to use wild plants such as meadow sweet as a natural soap, and using wild garlic to make garlic bread to cook over the fire. My highlight was carving a wooden spoon entirely by hand using an axe and knife. It was very satisfying to learn something new and different. Al is a natural teacher and made it a really fun day."

"A great couple of days for 31 Explorer Scouts enjoying canoeing on Wastwater, climbing in Eskdale, and ghyll scrambling in the River Esk gorge. Perfect combination of fun, challenge, thrills and adrenaline all in stunning surroundings. Many thanks to the very friendly and professional Path to Adventure team."

"I booked Ghyll Scrambling for a big group of us during a retreat I was running this week for 17 women and it was AMAZING. Heather was fantastic at all of the booking and communication and on the day, Al was absolutely brilliant. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable and really encouraging. He was supported by Andrew and Emma and they were both brilliant too. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. It's also worth noting that this is a company that cuts NO corners. the kit was absolutely fantastic quality - no stinky old wetsuits covered in holes - fantastically clean and modern kit. If we ever come back there is no way I'd consider booking with anyone else. This was an incredible experience - if you are considering this company, I urge you to book, you will not be disappointed!"
